The Avro 504 aircraft is a British light multi-role and training aircraft, produced since 1913. Avro 504 was a machine with a wooden structure, covered with canvas, two-plane, with a characteristic undercarriage with a tail skid and a skid between the wheels of the main chassis. Depending on the version, it mainly used the following engines: Gnome 80 HP, Le Rhone 110 HP, Gnome Monosoupape 100 HP, Clerget 130 HP and Armstrong Siddeley Lynx Mk. IV with 200 HP. BH versions are combat aircraft intended for light bombers, reconnaissance or even fighter planes. In turn, the A, J and K versions became famous as fantastic training planes. All variants were highly maneuverable, easy to pilot and had good flight characteristics. In total, by the end of the war, over 8,300 machines of this type had been produced. Interestingly, the production also continued after the war, until 1925. Technical data: Maximum speed: 145 km / h, rate of climb: 3.4 m / s, maximum ceiling 4480 m, maximum range: 402 km, weapons (combat versions): fixed - 1 or 2 Lewis 7.7mm machine guns and up to 36 kg of bombs.
