Tamiya 14069 MOTO GUZZI V10

The Moto Guzzi V10 Centauro is an Italian sports motorcycle (so-called naked bike) that was presented to the public for the first time in 1995 at the Milan Motor Show. Its series production started a year later (1996) and lasted until 2001. It was powered by a single, 2-cylinder engine with a capacity of 992 cm3 and 94 HP with two valves per cylinder. The V10 Centauro model was developed by the Italian company Moto Guzzi, which wanted to significantly expand its share in the motorcycle segment, the so-called naked bike. The model was also a kind of response to the Ducati Monster model, introduced shortly before. The Moto Guzzi V10 Centauro was designed by Luciano Marabese, and the motorcycle itself was characterized by quite unusual for those times styling, very good performance and good driving dynamics. From the technical point of view, it was undoubtedly a successful bike. However, the motorcycle did not achieve the assumed scale of market success.
