AIM Fan model 35005 Soviet motorcycle PZM-A-750

The PMZ-A-750 (original designation: NATI-A-750) is a heavy Soviet motorcycle from the interwar period and World War II. The first prototypes of this motorcycle were built in the early 1930s. On the other hand, serial production started in 1934 and lasted until 1938 or 1939. The drive was provided by a single 2-cylinder engine with 14 HP and a capacity of 746 cm3. The curb weight of the motorcycle was 210 kilograms. The PMZ-A-750 motorcycle was the first mass-produced heavy motorcycle in the history of the Soviet Union. On the other hand, N was responsible for its development Auto-Tractor Institute in Moscow, abbreviated - NATI, while production was carried out in Podolskie Zakłady Mechaniczne in the city of Podolsk. Constructively The PMZ-A-750 was modeled on BMW and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The models of the latter brand were used primarily when it comes to the design of the engine. It is worth adding that the total production of this motorcycle was small and amounted to approx. 4,500 units. The PMZ-A-750 motorcycle was solidly constructed, but highly unreliable. Starting the engine was especially problematic. Interestingly, the production of the motorcycle was carried out both for the needs of the Red Army and for the civilian market.
